Arbitrariness as the new measure of all things

The double standards of public prosecutor Annekatrin Kelm: Not all document forgery is the same.

The law states that everyone is equal. But the reality of our legal system increasingly makes me doubt this. Our legal system is eroding and is governed by a judiciary that no longer feels bound by the constitution, the law, or the principles of jurisprudence.

My latest book , Arbitrariness – Insights into German (In)Jurisprudence, deals with this using the example of a lawsuit I filed against the Magdeburg tax office for fraud, coercion, and violation of public policy. This lawsuit not only made me a great advocate of our legal system, striving to uphold it to the best of my ability,

Values fade if they are not embraced.

and are lived. Worthless things spread,

if you simply accept it.

but it also allowed me deep insights into the work of judges at the Finance Court of Saxony-Anhalt, the Federal Fiscal Court, the Federal Constitutional Court, and the Administrative Court of Magdeburg. The book's unique feature is that it consists primarily of my original written submissions, but also includes the judgments and rulings of the courts.

A legal system that does not follow common sense,

It is of no use to the German people any more than a Bible written in Latin.

I have been gaining experience in another legal proceeding for some time now, about which I will report in detail later. In connection with this, on August 27, 2022, I filed a criminal complaint against a judge at the Burg District Court, which I amended on September 19, 2022, to include the charge of forgery and requested the public prosecutor's office to seize the transcript of an oral hearing.

But nothing happened. What's interesting about this case is that the responsible public prosecutor at the Stendal public prosecutor's office is Annekatrin Kelm. She gained nationwide attention in 2017 when she represented the prosecution in the Stendal postal vote scandal ( https://www.welt.de/regionales/sachsen-anhalt/article162828324/Staatsanwaltschaft-fordert-drei-Jahre-Haft-fuer-Wahlfaelschung.html ). That case also involved forgery (https://docplayer.org/51299219-Stendaler-volksstimme.html ).

In the current affair, she has so far shown no inclination to take action – which has now led to a formal complaint regarding her conduct being filed with the Naumburg Public Prosecutor's Office. This case demonstrates how, for political reasons which I will analyze in greater depth, our legal system is increasingly being undermined and replaced by arbitrary action.

Being normal without being normal makes being normal normal.

The supplement to the criminal complaint can be found here – although some personal data has been removed.

Why is it important not to simply accept such actions? Since this year at the latest, it should be clear to all of us that Germany is in a "turning point" in the face of which its resilience seems negligible – I address this in my previous books and many tweets. A crucial building block for preserving our free and democratic order is our legal system. Any attempts to restrict its effectiveness must be stopped.

The people should fight for the law as they would for their wall.

the new order of a “turning point”.

Impetus to engage accordingly can certainly be drawn from the keynote address by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on October 28, 2022, which, although in its tenor a speech in favor of war and preparing the German population for years of hardship – at prime time around Friday noon and before a select group – also contained recommendations that are worth paying attention to.
