Action is often followed by advice.

The idea came in the new year: Revise your homepage and create a blog where you continuously comment on socio-political issues: It arose from the realization at the end of the previous year that, apart from an article on anti-Semitism with my peace plan for the Middle East at the beginning of the year, I had not written any articles or even books – which had not been the case for a long time.

The writer's block is related to the article. The strength to dedicate myself to the topic for several weeks came from exchanging ideas with someone who had already published several of my articles. However, when I offered him this one, he declined without explanation. I wasn't angry with him, but he seemed to have completely blocked me, and when I revealed this to him at the end of the year, there was no response at all.

So, my primary focus is on pulling myself out of the quagmire of inertia. While I post almost daily on X, indulging in situational humor and attempting to refute previous accusations that I'm too long-winded—I can be concise, after all—this approach only allows for a limited depth of exploration. This means I can only partially delve into topics, place them within broader contexts, concretize general observations, consider medium- and long-term consequences, or even creatively develop ideas for addressing identified problems based on analysis. This is something I want to revive.

There is certainly another reason, and the aforementioned article serves as an example of it as well. Although my thinking is generally driven by the desire to be useful, I manage to be primarily ignored, ridiculed, isolated, and opposed for my unconventional thinking, instead of being taken up by what I offer: be it, for example, the NSA affair, the Reformation anniversary, education, the war in Ukraine, or the conflict in the Middle East. I don't want to dwell on the reasons here, but merely note that I now want to reach my readers more effectively through this approach, without having to expend the – often unsuccessful – effort of promoting it to potential influencers.

As with my previous articles and writings, the range of topics will be broad, but ultimately it comes down to this: How can we enable people to live fulfilling lives? How can we make our country future-proof? How can we strengthen the fundamental values of our society and democracy? How can we arrive at comprehensive and sustainable solutions to our problems? I welcome suggestions for topics I should address.
